Mercato OM: An unexpected departure completed!
The Olympian transfer window could accelerate in the coming days with the arrival of Marcelino and the resumption of training. The Marseille club could see the departure of Sead Kolasinac who was in discussion for a contract extension.
The OM players return to training next week with their new coach Marcelino. By then the Marseille club should record the arrival of its first summer recruit Geoffrey Kondogbia. In the radius of departures, Olympique de Marseille could lose a player who has provided good service this season: Sead Kolasinac. Indeed, according to the Italian media PazzidiFanta.com, Atalanta would be close to finalizing the arrival of the OM defender. A verbal agreement has reportedly been reached and the former Arsenal player is expected next week.
Sead Kolasinac was in talks with Marseille leaders for a contract extension. This comes to an end at the end of June. The Bosnian international can therefore leave OM freely without transfer compensation.
Mercato OM: Longoria ready to put €15m on a 24-year-old defender?
According to the Turkish press, Olympique de Marseille have made an offer of 15 million euros for Danish central defender Victor Nelsson from Galatasaray.
According to Turkish 360 TV journalist Haluk Yürekli, who announced the arrival of Bartug Elmaz last year, Marseille Olympics forwarded an offer to Galatasaray for their centre-back Victor Nelson. This would amount to 15 million euros but it would have already been refused, the Turkish club claiming a sum greater than 20 million to let go of his international (10 selections).

The matter looks complicated, therefore, since the player has a very good coast in Europe, in particular in the Premier League and in Italy where Atalanta has sent an offer of 17M€ to the Turkish champion. Arrived from FC Copenhagen in 2021 against 7 million euros, Nelsson immediately established himself as an executive at Gala where he has just played two seasons at 36 and 33 league games. He also played the last World Cup during which he played 90 minutes, the entire match against France.
This 24-year-old right-handed central defender has a contract until 2026 with the Turkish club. Nelsson has made 33 Süper Lig appearances this season. Note that the player has already crossed paths with OM during the group stages of the Europa League in 2021.
