Citroen Ami. Soon a version in the colors of the Police

For the exhibition of police cars organized for National Police Day from July 7 to 9 in Côte-d’Or, a Citroën Ami was painted in the colors of the police. The electric quadricycle has only a promotional purpose here.

July 9 is National Police Day. For this year 2023, the Departmental Directorate of Public Security of Côte-d’Or and the Police Officers’ Association of Côte-d’Or are jointly organizing a police car show. Among the remarkable vehicles that will be presented there will be a Citroën Ami in the colors of the National Police.

The Friend of the Fellowship

Far from the performance of the Alpine A110 of the ERI of the Gendarmerie, or the habitability of the Peugeot 5008 also used by the forces of order, the Citroën Ami has for it to sneak without difficulty in the alleys of the city center. The copy in question here is adorned with the blue-white-red livery of the National Police, its name and its emblem. It is the result of a collaboration between the signage company AVS Communication and the dealer JMJ Automobiles.

An exhibition in Dijon and Beaune

Said Citroën Ami is not intended to enter active service. The electric quadricycle will be responsible for promoting the exhibition walking through the streets of Dijon, thus contributing to this  » Police-Population reconciliation operation “, as the organizers of the event call it. The public will notably be able to approach a Lamborghini Huracan from the Italian police, a Ford Mustang from Germany and an American Dodge Charger. The cars will be exhibited on July 7 and 8, place de la République in Dijon, then on July 9, place Carnot, in Beaune. Decidedly, the Citroën Ami never ceases to inspire unexpected liveries. Soon a Buggy version for the army?
