Scherer Sport Team Phoenix did not flinch on the 7th round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series. On home soil, the German team achieved the double this Saturday. At the end of the 28 laps of the race, Kuba Giermaziak, Kim-Luis Schramm and Luca Engstler won 21s ahead of the second Audi R8 LMS GT3 shared by Vincent Kolb and Frank Stippler.

For its competition debut, the Porsche 911 GT3 R/Manthey Racing in its 992 version took third place in the hands of Fred Mako and Julien Andlauer. “Grello” started at the back of the pack in the first group because the new GT3 from Porsche is not yet homologated. Under the checkered #911 conceded 2:07.450.

The top 5 is completed by the Mercedes-AMG GT3/Landgraf Motorsport of Luca Trefz, Julien Apothéloz and Casper Stevenson, and the Mercedes-AMG GT3/Schnitzelalm Racing of Carrie Schreiner and Peter Terting.
A week after the GT World Challenge Europe final in Barcelona, Charles Weerts and Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer were driving a BMW M240i/Adrenalin Motorsport with Nils Steinberg. The trio took 2nd place in the M240i Racing Cup (48th overall).
