On France 2, Jean-Luc Mélenchon proposed to Booba to send his fans to the march against the high cost of living on October 16.
POLITICS – A call from the foot which (obviously) does not find a taker. Guest of the first edition of What an era! on France 2, this Saturday, September 24, Jean-Luc Mélenchon took advantage of a question about Booba to appeal to the rapper, involved in recent months in a cabal against scams and the business of influencers.
Referring to the cyberbullying that sometimes results from it, Jean-Luc Mélenchon proposed to Booba to mobilize his fans for a more noble cause: the fight against the high cost of living and climate inaction. » I had the impression that he had entered into a form of anti-capitalist struggle, so I said to him: ‘rather than sending people into packs [sur les réseaux sociaux] get people to come to the march on October 16 against the cost of living, it will do us a favor!’ “Launched the former French deputy.

Invited, during this sequence, to react to several celebrity portraits presented to him, the politician also described Booba as » character of our time, full of contradictions « .
« When you drive a Lamborghini it’s complicated »
After this appeal from the foot to the author of DKR, the answer was not long in coming. Very active on social networks, Booba replied to the former rebellious candidate for the 2022 presidential election with irony.
» I’m not sending anyone to pack! People have followed my fight, which at first is personal because I shed light on demons. Walking against the high cost when you drive a Lamborghini it’s complicated Jean-Luc Mélenchon “, he replied, while asking him to invest in his own fight “ against influencers « .

To this answer, Jean-Luc Mélenchon retorted with humor: “ That’s good, a walk is on foot « . Something to tickle the « Duke of Boulogne », who sent him a more enigmatic response: Sink or swim “, then retweeted by the rebellious.

Even if it seems unlikely to see the artist take part in the march planned for mid-October at the initiative of France insoumise, the Socialist Party, EELV and other political and associative organizations in Paris, this last left a message of hope to Jean-Luc Mélenchon in yet another online exchange between the two men.
» The revolution is on « he wrote in this last tweet, accompanied by a photo praising the virtues of walking against sleep disorders.

What the former president of the LFI group in the National Assembly replied with the quote » The harder the fight, the more beautiful the victory. a wink to the song Garcimore by the artist, released in 2007. His tweet also invites the rapper and his fans to join the march with pirate flags, the self-proclaimed emblem of Booba in his songs and on social networks. Will the meeting finally take place? Nothing is less sure.
