At the end of the four Heat Races and the two Last Chance Races the starting grid for the Busch Light Clash is known.
Unsurprisingly, Heat Race #1 winner Kyle Bush will start from pole position in the 2022 Busch Light Clash at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. He will share the front row with the winner of the second Heat Race, Tyler Reddick. The other two winners will be in the second row, namely Justin Haley and Joey Logano.
Rows three through eight are for drivers who finished in places two, three and four in the Heat Races.
Places seventeen to twenty-two are occupied by the drivers who finished in the first three places in the two Last Chance Races.
Finally, the twenty-third place is reserved for the highest ranked driver of the 2021 season who was not qualified after the six races. Thus, it is Martin Truex Jr. who inherits this place.
