The German tuner Novitec, which is not really recognized for the finesse of its preparations, has just presented a specific kit for the new Ferrari Portofino M. On the program: more power, a specific aesthetic kit and new, lighter rims.
The objective is to maintain the reliability and longevity of the engine over time, while offering superior performance compared to the « basic » model.
The V8 increased to 804 hp
The Ferrari Portofino M is equipped with a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 which develops, at the base, 620 hp. For the occasion, the German preparer has installed a small reprogramming thus bringing the power to 704 hp and 882 Nm of torque.
An increase of 84 hp therefore compared to the classic Portofino M, the installed N-Tronic module playing in particular on the increase in the boost pressure of the two turbines. A simple and reliable modification if set reasonably.
This substantial increase in power allowed the Ferrari Portofino M to improve its performance. The 0 to 100 km / h now claims only 3.12 seconds and the top speed is announced at 325 km / h.

Lower and more aerodynamic
On the aesthetic level, the improvements made by Novitec are quite discreet. There are new carbon fiber elements, including the front air intakes, bonnet scoops, mirror caps and front fender air intakes.
Novitec has also optimized airflow by adding a few more aerodynamic elements, while new shock absorbers have lowered ground clearance by 35mm. Forged wheels of 21 and 22 inches, designed in collaboration with Vossen, add a little more sportiness to the model. To top it off, a new carbon fiber spoiler has been added to the trunk.
