Holder of a « two-way contract » in Denver, Collin Gillespie (23 years old, 1m90) had surgery for a fractured left leg on the side of Philadelphia. The Nuggets point to a lower leg fracture, and it could be a fractured tibia or fibula. In their press release, Denver speaks of an unavailability until further notice, and it is therefore not certain that we will see him in 2022.
Coming out of Villanova where he spent five years, Collin Gillespie is a big name in college basketball: NCAA champion, but also double “Player of The Year” of the Big East. “Old” rookie, he averaged 15.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists in his last NCAA season.
