Despite maintaining in extremis, the Andalusian team had been able to annoy the big teams by beating Barcelona at Camp Nou and standing up to Real Madrid and Seville FC. In their preparation, Álvaro Cervera’s players won against Malaga (2-0), Barbate (6-0) and conceded a draw against Las Palmas (1-1). For their third season in a row in the top flight, the Andalusian players will start their championship on Sunday August 14 against Real Sociedad.
