The Ferraris ofIron Lynximpressive Thursday in the qualifying sessions, were not so incisive in the exercise of the Super Pole, this Friday at the start of the evening.
This time, it was Andrea Caldarelli (Lamborghini Huracan) who set the best time by completing the 7 km of the Ardennes track in 2:16.221. This Saturday, he will share the front row with the Mercedes of AMG Team Akkodis (the formation managed by Jérôme Polycant) thanks to the performance of Raffaele Marciello whose time was however eliminated for not respecting the limits of the track. A mishap that also happened to Ricardo Feller (Audi) and Nicky Catsburg (BMW M4).
In the second row, we find the Porsche 54 driven this Friday by Klaus Bachler and the Mercedes 2 hoisted to this level by Luca Stolz. Kevin Estre (Porsche 911) a moment credited with the best time will start from 6th place next to the Audi of Mattia Druddi. Note Fabian Schiller’s 9th time, whose Mercedes is entered in Silver.
On the Belgian side, Dries Vanthoor set the 15th time in the WRT team’s Audi R 8 LMS while Maxime Martin (Aston Martin) was in 17th position. In this delicate exercise, only the Mercedes 777, driven by Fabian Schiler, offered an excursion in a gravel trap.
